From personal storytelling and upbeat acoustic strumming, to delicate guitar interludes and lullaby moments, BLIND CHAPERONE brings an original journey of raw, conversational poetry, and an eclectic blend of folk and electro-accented sound. With mixing done at The Village in Los Angeles, the project represents a brave and experimental evolution driven by fresh artistic intimacy. Letting go of the usual need for perfection, control, and the community triangulation of life experiences, BLIND CHAPERONE is a musical diary of prismatic ballads, old-school protest anthems, and quiet love songs.

Inspired by song seeds born on a two-month bicycle ride from Boston to Los Angeles, the first album from BLIND CHAPERONE (aka Tip Scarry) represents the culmination of a ten-year time capsule’s worth of stories. Following a series of casual performances in Los Angeles, Scarry’s new moniker and album liberate his perceived ceiling of possibility, granting the longtime songwriter permission to release fear and build upon deeper self-acceptance, surrendering more fully to the artistic process.
